Restart tool allows the user to restart the solving process from the increment in which the model has been stopped, either if it has been stopped by the user, whatever circumstance, or if it did not converge properly well. In the model has to be more than one Load Case. The use process is ahead.
1. First of all, the Create box has to be fulfilled. Now, CivilFEM will generate some t08 files, in the Marc_Run folder, which will correspond to the thoroughly solved Load Cases.
2. Solving process has been stopped, whatever the reason and, if the user would like to restart the solving process, the Create box can be deselected while the Read box has to be marked. If both checkboxes are selected, CivilFEM will restart the analysis and create news .t08 files for the load cases solved in the restart analysis.
3. Now, once both of the previous steps has been carried out, the required t08 file will be loaded from the Restar Folder, inside the Marc_Run folder. The model will be solved exactly from the same point in which it was stopped.
4. Last step consist of deactivating every load case which has been previously solved due to CivilFEM will take into account the calculation time where the model did not converge.
In the File box, the Case 2 has been loaded, therefore, Solve Load Case option has to be deactivated from the previous Load Cases to the one it is required for the restarting process.
