General properties are those properties common to all cross sections. These properties have the following labels and values:

For concrete and steel sections, the user has the option to select the Mechanical Properties for solving the model. By default, CivilFEM solves the model using the section properties derived from the tessellation of the section. If the user needs to use the shown mechanical properties instead, the corresponding checkbox can be activated and the mechanical properties shown will be used for solving. The user is warned though, as selecting this option has the consequence of the material being treated as linear and several element results will not be calculated.
