CFVR5272 - 2D shear checking according to EC2

Rectangular section

The model is a prestressed fixed-pinned beam 800 cm length.
The beam is made of HA-25 concrete with tendons that are made of Y1860S3 steel.
The section is box one, with B500S steel reinforcement. It has the following dimensions:

  • h = 80 cm
  • b = 50 cm
Loads:
  • Prestressing loads
  • Compression load Fy= -60000 kp
  • Surface load of 5 kp
The aim of the example is to verify shear checking for prestressed concrete according to EC2.

Element types used in the model: BEAM44

Needed CivilFEM Modules:
Geotechnical Module
Bridges and Civil Non Linearities Module
Advanced Prestressed Concrete Module

The example can be launched on an educational license.
