CFVR7801 - AISC-LRFD13: Tension Checking L section

Tension checking according to AISC-LRFD13 for a cantilever beam which has a L cross section.

A cantilever steel beam is subjected to an axial tensile force of 135 kips.
The beam has a length of 21 in. the cross section is a L 4x4x1/2 with 0.87 in2 of holes area.
The beam is made of A36 steel which has a fy of 36 kips/in2
The aim of the example is to obtain the tension criterion according to AISC-LRFD13.
