CFVR6103 - Pile Wailing

Rectangular wailing sustained by a mesh of piles

A rectangular wailing (4.9x2.4x2.5 m),is sustained by 14 piles separated 0.7 meters within each other. The piles are located to 0.35 meters in relation to the slab. The structure is submitted to:

  • Axial force : 2123 Mp
  • X axis moment:193 Mp
  • Y axis moment:53.6 Mp. The aim of this example is to calculate the maximum axial force supported by the piles.
