Creates an influence line

ILID

Influence line identification number.

Target

Target force or moment. Valid labels are:

The nature of the force and moment it represents (acial force, shear force, bending moment or torsional moment), as well as its sign, will depend on the definition of the nodal coordinate system.

Action

Force or moment that will be loaded on the structure. Valid labels are:

MX

Moment in the X direction

Moment in the Y direction

Moment in the Z direction

NPOINT

Target node number.

XP, YP, ZP

Target node coordinates in the active system. Used only if NPOINT = 0.

ENDACT

Action that will take place after the influence line is calculated:

Description

Restore the structure to its original definition (default value).

Leave the influence line opened (it can be closed at any time using the ~ILCLOSE command).

POSTOL

Tolerance for the creation of assemblies with “positive action” nodes. It is a positive value. Default value = 0.0.

NEGTOL

Tolerance for the creation of assemblies with “negative action” nodes. It is a negative value. Default value = 0.0.

Notes

- Direction specified for the Target or Action is referred to the nodal coordinate system.
