Defines a steel section by plates

Key

Label identifying the type of operation. Valid labels are:

NEW

Selection initialisation

PLT

Define or modify plate data

DEL

Delete a plate

USEC

Number of the cross section to be defined.

IPLT

Number of the plate to define or delete.

Following options are only valid for Key = PLT

IMAT

Number of plate material (by default, the active).

PTY

Plate type for My bending.

Notes

- This commands allows to define, modify or delete steel sections made of plates. The use of this command must follow these steps:

- To define a new section:

1.    Initiate the section plate definition using the command ~SSECPLT, NEW, USEC, IPLT

2.    Next, define each plate through the command ~SSECPLT, PLT, USEC, IPLT, IMAT, PTY, PTZ, CP1, CP2, THCK, YP1, ZP1, YP2, ZP2

- To modify one of the plates of an existing section, use the command ~SSECPLT, PLT, USEC, IPLT, IMAT, PTY, PTZ, CP1, CP2, THCK, YP1, ZP1, YP2, ZP2

- To delete one of the plates of an existing section, use the command ~SSECPLT, DEL, USEC, IPLT
