~CFLSWRT

~CFLSWRT, LSNUM

Writes load and load step option data to a file.

SOLU: BRIDGES MODULE: Load Step Operations

LSNUM

Number to be assigned to the load step file name for identification purposes. Defaults to 1 + highest LSNUM used in the current session. Issue ~CFLSWRT, STAT to list the current value of LSNUM. Issue ~CFLSWRT, INIT to reset to 1. The load step file will be named Jobname.Sn, where n is the specified LSNUM value (preceded by “0” for values 1-9 ).

Command Default

The default behavior of ~CFLSWRT is dependent on the SOLCONTROL command. When solution control is on (default behavior ), the ~CFLSWRT command does NOT write the default values for commands affected by solution control. When solution control is off ( SOLCONTROL, OFF ), ~CFLSWRT does write the defaults values for commands affected by solution control.

Notes

- This command should be used instead of the LSWRITE command.

- Writes all load and load step option data for the selected model to a load step file for later use.

- ~CFLSWRT does not capture changes made to shell vertex, cross sections, beam & shell properties, real constants or material properties.

- Solid model loads will not be saved if the model is not meshed.

- Solid model loads, if any, are transferred to the finite element model.

- Issue LSCLEAR,FE to delete finite element loads.

- One file is written for each load state.

- Use the LSREAD command to read a single load state file, and the LSDELE command to delete load state files.

- Use the LSSOLVE or ~CFLSSLV or command to read and solve the load states sequentially.

- ~CFLSWRT cannot be used with the birth-death elements option, unless it has been solved using the ~CFLSSLV command and the corresponding components of the elements that born and die have been defined.

- This command is also available in PREP7.
