Introduction of points defining the tangential mesh (through coordinates)

PREP7: GEOTECHNICAL MODULE: Slope stability

X1

X coordinate of the first point that defines the parallelogram.

Y1

Y coordinate of the first point that defines the parallelogram.

X2

X coordinate of the second point that defines the parallelogram.

Y2

Y coordinate of the second point that defines the parallelogram.

X3

X coordinate of the third point that defines the parallelogram.

Y3

Y coordinate of the third point that defines the parallelogram.

X4

X coordinate of the fourth point that defines the parallelogram.

Y4

Y coordinate of the fourth point that defines the parallelogram.

NTAN

Number of tangents.

Notes

- Tangents are “infinite”; that is to say that circles may be tangent to any point of the line and not only in the area enclosed by the quadrilateral. Therefore, the quadrilateral cannot be degenerated.

- If only the first point is introduced (X1,Y1) and the remaining are left blank, only circles passing through this point are taken. In this case, there is clearly only one circle per centre.
