~PLLSFOR

~PLLSFOR, Item, Comp, FACT

Plots forces and moments on beam elements.

POST1: Beam Utilities

Item

Code identifying the moment or force that the command draws. The allowed values are;

F

Forces

M

Moments

IF

Isostatic Forces

IM

Isostatic Moments

HF

Hyperstatic Forces

HM

Hyperstatic Moments

IF and IM are the isostatic forces and moments due to prestressing. The load step must come from a prestressing calculus.

HF and HM are the hyperstatic forces and moments due to prestressing.

Hyperstatic forces = Total forces – Isostatic forces.

Comp

Code identifying the force and moment component to be drawn. The COMP values depend on the value assigned to ITEM:

Item

Comp

Description

F, IF or HF

X

Axial force.

"

Y

Shear force in Y.

"

Z

Shear force in Z.

M, IM or HM

X

Torsional moment.

"

Y

Bending moment in Y.

"

Z

Bending moment in Z.

FACT

Optional plot scale factor. A negative factor turns the graph so that the positive values are drawn downwards.

Notes

- The annotations that appear in the graph are automatically deleted in order to avoid being shown in the following drawings. Therefore, if the Replot command is used, the new drawing will not have annotations. To get back the annotations, issue the ~PLLSFOR command again or send it to a file.
