~PLSHFOR

~PLSHFOR, Comp, AVERAGE, KUND, KPLOT

Plots forces and moments in shells.

POST1: Shell Utilities

Comp

Code identifying the component to be drawn.

TX

X axial force

TY

Y axial force

TXY

XY sliding shear force

NX

XZ shear force

NY

YZ shear force

MX

Bending moment at X face

MY

Bending moment at Y face

MXY

Torsional moment at XY face

AVERAGE

Interpolate the results of nodes.

0

Interpolate

1

Not interpolate

KUND

Way of drawing geometry.

0

Deformed shape only

1

Deformed and undeformed shape

2

Deformed shape and edges with undeformed shape

KPLOT

Way of plotting results:

1

By DESOL, allows different values in every node of each element, slower for a high number of elements.

2

By ETABLE, the value plotted is constant for all element (mean value of nodes). Faster method than previous.

0

Default case, it depends on the forces and moments that will be obtained in shells (~CFCONFG command):

·         By ETABLE, ANSYS values (default value). The forces and moments are calculated at the element’s centroid.

·         By DESOL, CivilFEM values. The forces and moments are calculated at each node.

Notes

- Results of the ANSYS (*.rst) result file which will be overwritten to draw CivilFEM shell results.

Possible results that can be overwritten (see command ~CFCONFG)

EPSW (default value)

Swelling strain.

NLSEPL

Equivalent stress.

NLSRAT

Stress state ratio.

NLHPRES

Hydrostatic pressure.

NLEPEQ

Accumulated equivalent plastic strain.

NLPSV

Plastic state variable.

NLPLWK

Plastic work/volume.

- Annotations that are shown in the graphic are automatically deleted to avoid being shown in following drawings. Therefore, if the REPLOT command is used, the new command will not have these annotations, being necessary a new ~PLSHFOR command to repeat the drawing or to send it to a file.
