Defines a reinforced concrete shell vertex

PREP7: Shell Vertex

IVTX

Number of the shell vertex to be defined.

THK

Shell vertex thickness.

MAT

Material of the shell vertex.

RMAT

Reinforcement material.

MC

Mechanical cover.

ASSXT

Reinforcement area per unit length at the top X face.

ASSXB

Reinforcement area per unit length at the bottom X face.

ASSYT

Reinforcement area per unit length at the top Y face.

ASSYB

Reinforcement area per unit length at the bottom Y face.

KRNF

Reinforcement situation. Valid values are the following:

0

Not braced bars. (Value by default.)

1

Braced bars

ALP

Angle between the reinforcement with respect to the Y-axis, and the element local Y-axis (sexagesimal degrees). It is only taken in to account in Wood Armer’s method . By default, ALP=0

THETA

Angle of concrete compressive struts (sexagesimal degrees).

SXT

Separation between bars in X top face

SXB

Separation between bars in X bottom face

SYT

Separation between bars in Y top face

SYB

Separation between bars in Y bottom face

PHIXT

Diameter of X top bars

PHIXB

Diameter of X bottom bars

PHIYT

Diameter of Y top bars

PHIYB

Diameter of Y bottom bars

MCXT

Mechanical cover in X top face

MCXB

Mechanical cover in X bottom face.

MCYT

Mechanical cover in Y top face

MCYB

Mechanical cover in Y bottom face

Notes

- This command allows the definition or modification of all shell vertices properties simultaneously. To modify one property only, command ~SHLMDF may be used.

- Mechanical cover must be defined using same value (MC) or different values for each face and direction (MCXT, MCXB, MCYT, MCYB). Leave blank the values you don't want to use.
