Retaining wall model solving

SOLUTION: GEOTECHNICAL MODULE: Walls

LSMIN

Initial load step. If LSMIN = ALL all the load states are launched

LSMAX

Final load step.

Notes

- The load remains over the earth on the side where the excavation is not taking place, but it is removed on the excavation side.

- The density taken for the earth is the apparent density. However, in case of a submerged earth, the density taken is the submerged density.

- Although it is possible to carry out modifications in the model, the following restrictions must be observed:

- Wall nodes cannot be deleted.

- Anchorage, reinforcement or earth (links or contacts) nodes or elements cannot be deleted.

- Sometimes, it may be useful to change some element properties or the support conditions of the anchorage nodes to adapt the model when necessary.

- Any kind of strength that affects the wall nodes will be removed throughout calculation. The pressures that act over the elements will be kept.
