      Commands Groups

This chapter contains the CivilFEM commands tables. Each CivilFEM command makes reference to one or more of these tables that can be consulted to see its related commands:

 


SESSION Commands

These commands provide general control to the CivilFEM session. A brief description of each command is given below.

 

Table 1              Run Controls

~CFABOUT .

Indicates the version, product and additional CivilFEM modules.

~CFACTIV .

Indicates the selection and status of the of the selected CivilFEM module.

~CFEXIT .

Stops the run and returns control to the system.

 


DATABASE Commands

These commands are used to initialize and operate with CivilFEM database.  A brief description of each command is given below.

Deletes Simultaneously CivilFEM and ANSYS databases.

~CFCONFG .

Modifies or lists CivilFEM configuration parameters.

~CFRESUM .

Retrieves CivilFEM and ANSYS databases.

Stores CivilFEM and ANSYS databases.

~CODESEL .

Defines the active codes.

~INICVF .

Checks security and activates the user routines.

~UNITS .

Defines the user units system.

 

Table 3              Parameter

~CFGET .

Obtains values from the CivilFEM database and stores them in a user defined parameter.

~CFFILE2 .

Specify different RCV files from which to read the load steps for checking with the ACI359 code.

~CFRAPPN .

Appends results data from the database to the CivilFEM results file.

~CFVGET .

Retrieves values into an array parameter.

~CFVLEN .

Specifies the number of rows to be used in array parameter operations.

~CFVMASK .

Specifies an array parameter as a masking vector.

~CSIQR .

Obtains values from the cross sections and stores them in a user defined parameter.

~FMREAD .

Import the forces and moments results (of the selected elements) from an ASCII file to the RCV file.

~FMWRITE .

Export the forces and moments results (of the selected elements) to an ASCII file.

~VWHTML .

Exports numerical arrays created from ANSYS or CivilFEM commands to a HTML table.

~VWTXT .

Exports numerical arrays created from ANSYS or CivilFEM commands to a TXT table.

~VWXLS .

Exports numerical arrays created from ANSYS or CivilFEM commands to Microsoft Excel.

~LSTFMT .

Forces the results output to TXT or HTML format, independently from the configuration at Civil Setup.


PREP7 Commands

These commands are used together with ANSYS PREP7 commands to build the model. A brief description of each command is given below.

These commands are used during the SOLU phase in ANSYS. A brief description of each command is given below.

POST1 Commands

These commands are used together with the ANSYS POST1 commands to postprocess the results. A brief description of each command is given below.

Specifies the number of the alternative to write.

~CFSET .

Defines the ANSYS data set and CivilFEM alternative to be read from ANSYS and CivilFEM result files.

~CMBDAT .

Points to original or combined results.

~MOD_SF .

Defines a ‘Data Set’ in CivilFEM results file, concomitant with the actual ‘Data Set’ of ANSYS.

~RCVWRT

Creates a new CivilFEM results file, writing the results from the database as Dataset 1

These commands are used to perform seismic analysis. A brief description of each command is given below.
